This collection was created as a tribute to the bee. A matte black glass is adorned with a gold bee, then hand poured with a high-quality beeswax blend for optimum burning quality. Each exuisite fragrance is a stop the bee would make along its journey, from the early morning blossoms of a sweet clover to the raw honey in their hive. Each box boasts a modern sensibility, from the crisp honeycomb pattern on the lid to the whimsical gold foiled flight pattern that is revealed when opened. The Bee Collection is designed for those with disconcerning contemporary tastes. Experience the Journey of the Bee with all six of the earthly fragrances. Made with 40% beeswax and 60% vegetable oil. Burns 80 hours.

What's so great about beeswax? It's a natural substance made by bees in contrast to paraffin which is a chemical byproduct of the oil industry. Beeswax candles burn brighter, longer and with much less soot and do not emit toxins to pollute the air you breathe. In the burning process they emit negative ions which have been shown to clean the air and invigorate the body.
Beeswax gets its color and aroma from the honey and pollen that is packed in honeycomb cells. This is what accounts for the variation in color of beeswax candles. The color of the wax from which they are made is highly dependent on the floral source used by the bees.
What's so great about beeswax as a candle and as a fuel in general? First and foremost, beeswax candles burn brighter, longer, and cleaner than any other candle! The flame emits essentially
the same light spectrum as does the sun and in the process of burning emits, negative ions that are known to clean the air and invigorate the body (reportedly, stimulating the puitary gland, thus increasing creativity, intuition, and dream activity).
Finally, this 100% natural fuel created by bees is naturally scented by the honey and nectar of flowers packed into the honeycombs and gives off a subtle fragrance as it burns. In short, it's a natural substance straight from mother nature.
